It’s 3:00pm on the 6th Dec 2005, and I’m waiting with (barely) baited breath to find out which of the two David’s, (Cameron and Davis), is the latest unfortunate soul to become the leader of the Conservative Party. So far the pundits are leaning towards Cameron and if web competance is anything to go by, I’d have to agree. Neither site displays any originality or elegance, though commendable features on either site include a â??blogâ?? (Davis) and an â??Ideas Bankâ?? (Cameron). This is Cameron’s way of collecting the ideas of interested persons on future policy. I’ve submitted a few fairly outlandish policy ideas, none of which I imagine would ever be adopted, and I don’t particularly expect any response.
However, if I am surprised with a reply I’ll let you know what those policies were and what the prospective Conservative leader thinks of them. Perhaps you too would like to submit some ideas for the future of conservatism? Do let me know if you get any response.
